IV. Regulatory news

• The Qatar government, which banned BTC trading in 2018, is cautiously reconsidering its stance. They plan to establish new regulations for investment tokens backed by tangible assets by the end of 2024.
• According to CoinDesk, Slovenia has become the first EU member state to issue sovereign digital bonds,  settled using its wholesale central bank digital currency (CBDC), worth €30 million ($32.5 million), as part of the European Central Bank's currency settlement experiment.

BTC reached a high of $70,080 on July 29 but fell to around $66,000 following news of the US government moving 29,800 BTC.  The expected target range of $71,000-$72,000 was not reached. 

On the daily chart, the price of BTC should ideally stay above $65,400; dropping below this level could prompt traders to adopt a more cautious approach.

In the short term, a dip below $65,000 could lead to BTC dropping further to the $63,000 range. Notably, ETH and altcoins have shown resilience, making ETH pairs noteworthy.
