WOO Network partners with Poland’s largest Web3 developers community
WOO Network completed a 72-hour hackathon among Web3 developers in collaboration with HackOnChain, the largest Polish developer community dedicated to blockchain technology.
"Our goal in hosting the hackathon with our partners Aleph Zero, Mantle Network, Cookie3, and HackOnChain is to raise awareness of DeFi's central role as a trusted and transparent financial solution without intermediaries. We introduced the world of $WOO and gave developers access to workshops and bounties. We're also looking for innovative solutions from these young talents," said Ben Yorke, WOO Network VP of Ecosystems.
"Hackathons are important because they drive innovation. There are no other opportunities where developers can hack for 72 hours straight," said Maja Cholewka, founder of HackOnChain.
“We partnered with WOO Network because there is no other CEX [centralized exchange] and DEX [decentralized exchange] that value technology while connecting to communities," said Maja Cholewka, founder of HackOnChain
Growing via communities in Poland and Europe
WOO Network has been actively involved in developing strong community relationships to create trading platforms that resonate with active traders. Coordinating with the community through in-person trading competitions and partnering with the top KOLs will enable WOO Network to better understand traders' needs and be developed accordingly.
Michał Wojtas, CEO of HackOnChain, said, "We partnered with WOO Network because we see that WOO will be a big player on the Polish market and CEE [Central and Eastern Europe]."
Meanwhile, Katarzyna Jakubowska, CMO of Cashify, one of HackOnChain and WOO’s partners, said, "This initiative [hackathon] is important because young developers can meet others to work on innovations together. WOO, on the other hand, can find talented people to become part of their community."
WOO Network has previously announced measures and programs to strengthen its relationships with the Polish trading community in response to the company’s successful regulatory developments in the region.
Poland is a gateway for WOO Network to the EU markets. Warsaw is key to the growth of adoption in the whole of Eastern Europe as the country hosts many talents coming from neighboring countries, including Ukraine, Belarus, Bulgaria, and Central Asian countries, among others.
In addition to nurturing the local communities, WOO Network joined FinTech Poland, the founding member of the European Digital Finance Association (EDFA), a non-profit independent industry body of 15 EU ecosystems representing thousands of members that collaborate with policymakers to ensure a competitive European Union and a prosperous single market.
