WOO Network opens innovation hub in Poland
WOO Network has launched an innovation lab in Warsaw, Poland, with the aim of nurturing top crypto-related projects in the region. This WOO Network web3 innovation hub will identify and support talented blockchain individuals, startups, and communities.
We spoke to our VP of Ecosystem, Ben Yorke, about this development and he said that the project is part of our commitment to building decentralized finance.
“The innovation hub will support highly-talented technical problem solvers that positively impact the crypto space. We believe strongly in the network effects that these collaborations will bring, as we align with companies who complement our own team’s strengths to help all of us grow in a fast and sustainable manner,” Yorke said.
Among the first teams chosen to be part of the innovation lab is Cookie3, an impressive web3 analytics platform. Their company tracks user on-chain activities, providing insights into user experience levels, device or wallet preferences, and even preferred dApps or NFT collections.
We also had a chat with Filip Wielanier, the CEO of Cookie3, who expressed his excitement about joining the WOO Network innovation hub. Filip sees this as a great opportunity to exchange knowledge and market insights with other Web3 founders and projects.
Another addition to the innovation hub is HashUp, an on-chain dropshipping protocol designed for creators. Szymon Jankowski, CEO of HashUp, also shared with us his enthusiasm for joining this dynamic community of founders.
“The initiative has the potential to make a significant impact on the Polish crypto market and benefit crypto enthusiasts in the region,” Jankowski told us during our quick conversation at the hub.
Poland serves as a gateway for WOO Network to the EU markets, and Warsaw, in particular, plays a crucial role in driving crypto adoption in Eastern Europe. The country attracts talented individuals from neighboring countries, including Ukraine, Belarus, Bulgaria, and Central Asian countries, making it an ideal location for this innovation hub.
Notably, crypto ownership in Poland has been on the rise. The Statista Global Consumer Survey indicates that 14% of Polish respondents were using Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies as of 2023, up three percentage points from the previous year. With over one million people (2.8% of the Polish population) having crypto wallets, it's evident that the crypto movement is gaining momentum in the country.
If you're intrigued and have a remarkable crypto project to share, please feel free to reach out to us at marketing@woo.network. Due to the volume of applications, we'll prioritize projects with strong fundamentals, where WOO Network can provide significant value.
